This movie has slowly moved it's way up on my list of fav movies.

Interesting movie, I enjoyed the graphic novel more.Obviously.

i've seen this movie sooooo many times, it's the Citizen Kane of superhero movies IMHO!

At 3 and a half hours, this is a whole lot of movie.

Restored my faith in graphic novel adaptations. So uncompromising it's worth crying over.

The movie is a bit like a cover version of a classic song; on the surface it's the same, but ultimately it misses what was cool about the material in the first place.

I finally have the time to watch the 4 hour cut of this film.

Was going to get this on Blu-Ray, but only the DVD was available. Awesome movie nonetheless!

Last hour to go! A lot to like and a lot of problems. This sex scene is horrendous. Over-long and unnecessary.

Literally just finished the book. Pretty excited!

Brilliant movie.
But in a way, the Director's Cut (which contains some of the most interesting scenes of the movie that were sadly omitted (Hollis' Last Stand) or shortened (Mars)) is absolutely enough for me.
Although the "Black Freighter"-material makes it a "complete" film adaptation of the Comic, these scenes keep throwing me out of the movie.

The surround speakers are on, and Schontzie hates it - perfecto...
