It is an entrancing film like pure poetry.Mind reading London Fog coat wearing Angels.Two lonely beings find each other. It is a brilliant film. and the American version was an insult . Instead of a somewhat unique but ordinary woman the American version makes into not just a doctor but a specialist to boot so there was no sense of a daily struggle to keep mind and body together instead they made her into a Yuppie who by definition has no soul they grow up to be vapid Neocns .

Sad and beautiful... and then sad again.

this film is an all-time classic. don't let the title fool you into thinking it's one of those raunchy chick passion novels. it's referring to the gaurdian angels that watch over people everyday in this movie. peter falk is great in this one. the writing is superb.

This film is pure poetry. I cried like five separate times. And I don't cry for movies. Gah. Incredible.

Wim Wenders is a genius. Fallen angels plus circus plus Nick Cave plus Peter Falk plus Crime and the City Solution plus Bruno Ganz plus the haunting black & white background of post-war Berlin equals a masterpiece.
