My favourite ever film (that isn't Evil Dead II or Jaws).

Remade into a generic, boring Hollywood movie called City of Angels. Wings of Desire is far superior.

Beautiful love story set in Germany. With fantastic shots of Germany in black and white. One of the best films ever.

Loved how the film made use of black and white film versus color.

Heart-breakingly beautiful in every way a movie can be, and then some.
