The part near the end where Nina is tied up at the table is SO reminiscent of the original Texas Chainsaw where Sally is tied to the "armchair" at the table

The old guy chugging the pepto is by far the nastiest looking I have seen--has the Chainsaw remake old wheelchair nasty guy beat

If I ever get lost in the backwoods someplace I hope that A. I will have the good sense not to just walk into someone's filthy little inbred looking house, and B. I will be quite heavily armed

if there is anything i have learned lately on my movie watching binge, it is that unrated versions are the best at making me grossed out and intrigued all at the same time.
