Watched this for the first time tonight. I really liked it. A very visually stunning movie and I enjoyed the character development and interactions. I do hope they make a third film.

Al Kirk I liked it for what it was, but I of course would like to see a summing up of the story started in the first place on the show. (Trying not to put down spoilers. lol) -
Brian Dorn I think this movie is an incredible work of art, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it. The imagery, atmosphere, and acting were all amazing. Carter and Spotnitz are quite the team. -
Izzy I liked the film. The big problem I had was that it was basically a 2-hour X-Files episode. The story didn't have the grandeur of a film, and the weak domestic ticket sales don't help the chances for a 3rd movie. I do hope they make another film but only if the story is really strong, and honestly, they should use a 3rd movie as a finale to the whole X-Files mythos.

Sigh, would it have killed them to hunt an alien or two :/
-
cmq They had amazing cases during the series and this is all they could come up for a movie? I'm a bit dissappointed... but anyway, it's good to see a little more of Mulder and Scully.
