This is more of a general dislike than an absolute. There are definitely some nice blends out there (off the top of my head, Compass Box, for one) but generally I go for the single malts.

I've had some good blendeds (ie not Johnny Walker *anything*, blech) but my preference is for single malts. I feel like the better ones are less tailored for mass market consumption and have more depth of flavor and character. Then again, almost all of them are owned by major conglomerates these days, and have the interests that come with that.

I remember when Google Chrome came out, and my first thought was "So? Firefox already works great." But it really blew FF out of the water with its JS speed. TraceMonkey just can't beat V8, it seems.

I watched this for a bit, but it got boring really fast. When I want sci fi, I want it framed in a sci fi context (aka the future). Don't make up science and then tell me it's happening right now. (I don't like the X-files either).

I got to taste a wide range of years (up to the oldest cask in the warehouse [42yr]) with the warehouse manager when I visited their distillery. It was *awesome*.
