    I am a huge Manilow fan, but I have to describe this new album as just okay. While there are a few songs I really like, such as Work the Room and Wine Song, there are quite a few others that I feel would have been better sung by someone else. As talented as he is, Barry is just not cut out to sing everything.
    
    The music and arranging is superb, as it is always is, he's never had a problem with that. However, if you listen to this album, there are several songs you'll find yourself not wanting to include in your playlist.

    Any preconceived notions and opinions that you may have about Barry Manilow and his music? Check them at the door before you listen to this cd.
    Taking a huge leap out of his comfort zone, and thinking outside the box, Manilow has created a guitar-driven pop/rock album in which he explores fame with it's ups and downs.
    Brilliant lyrics by Enoch Anderson and Adrienne Anderson (Wine Song) plus Manilow's music, unlike any he has composed before = Perfection.
    Keep an open mind and take a listen and you'll be surprised.
    I've been a fan for 36 years and it completely blew me away! It's also quickly become my favorite album.

    My fave song on here is getting played over and over & I still cannot get enough. It's "Slept Through The End of The World" and I hope he plays it live Saturday when I see him!
