    This is one of the gangster-themed movie, created in 2007 a crime film adapted from a New York magazine story "The Return of Superfly", by Mark Jacobson, starring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe. Denzel Washington is on of my fav actor, he animates every character he played. I strongly agree that he is one of great actor. The official soundtrack album for American Gangster was released by Def Jam Recordings, a few songs on the soundtrack of this film shades of blues and souls period of 60 - 70. Only two new vocal songs, both done by soul singer Anthony Hamilton's in a 1970s style.
