    Madonna's public assent after the Erotica album (another great album btw) Bedtime Stories was a just another re-invention of Madonna's image and sound. Using Nelly Hooper, Dallas Austin, Baby Face, Björk, and Shep Pettibone, to name a few, to help this new soulful and often surreal sounding collaboration.
    
    The individual songs Secret, Survival. Human Nature, Bedtime Story, I'd Rather Be Your Lover, Don't Stop, Inside of Me, Take A Bow, Love Tried To Welcome Me, and Forbidden Love, took the listener on a journey that Madonna had rarely hinted on in the past.
    
    Bedtime Stories is a classic Madonna album, one of the best she's produced ever.

    Bedtime Stories is my second favorite Album from Madonna. It was released in 1994 and its the sixth album from her. She was soft on this one with tiny bits of nastiness seeping out this way and that. I also like that Bjork helped her with the title track which is my number one favorite on this release. "Human Nature" is pure nasty Madonna, the way I like it and comes in a close second.

    Less overtly sexual and more sensual, this was the album that made me fall in love with the singer that is Madonna rather than the exhibitionist that was really not her. Well, maybe and maybe not, but in this collaboration with, among others, Babyface, she explores her more R&B, soulful side and gives in to the sensual overtones that is almost bluesy, sentimental and yes, still sexy, but in a slightly restrained manner. Here is almost the path she would take in later years: electronica. Bjork lends a hand - and possibly more - in the trance track Bedtime Stories, of which video becomes onef of the priciest ever, and also a work of art. Secret is also her departure from pop and ventures into melodies laden with guitar strings, which also features highly in her later albums. And yes, how can one mention this album without mentioning Take A Bow? The lyrical love song that has no one unprintable word in it, yet superbly demonstrates a woman (or man) a deep yearning for both physical and...
