    I first heard of Kyuss when this album came out. I was 16. MTV headbangers ball played the video for thumb. I was hooked. It was newage Black Sabbath but way different. I couldnt get enough of the guitar sounds and the heavy drums. I saw them later that year at First Avenue in minneapolis opening a show that included them, White Zombie and Danzig. What a show. What a night. Blues for the red sun is a complete album from start to finish. If you havent heard it, please give it a listen.
