    This is truly one of my favorite movies and soundtracks. I love how in a lot of John Hughes' movies the music helps make the movie. When you watch his movies you can tell a lot of thought went into the music selection. It is not like the movies that are made now, where they just through popular music into a scene to make it louder. The Breakfast Club soundtrack is just one example of how much music can make a movie. They just don't make soundtracks like this anymore!

    This Soundtrack wrapped together a generation for me, just like the movie did. It's something I can hold onto, and play in the car on days when I need to be reminded of parts of me that sometimes I think are lost to the world.... When All the stresses of being a mother, having a mortgage, a stressful life and responsibilities...
    
    These songs can remind me of a simpler time, and a simpler me, yet remind me that that person is still there within, and as I crank the tunes loud as I drive by myself, albeit in a minivan, traded in from the sportscar, All the parts of me can become whole... And I'm closer to "zen" than any meditation tape could give me.
