    Brian Wilson was so far ahead of his time that a lot of people didn't "pick up what he was putting down" in the 60's...this new album just proves that he has always been on the right track...

    If you like Gershwin tunes (who doesn't?) and you like Brian Wilson (who doesn't?), then this is a very satisfying listen where the best from both are melded together in a seamless musical concoction that displays the risk-taking and innovation that made Wilson such a pop music pioneer. It's such a pleasure to even hear these songs at all in the present-day music world, let alone reinvented by one of the best there is.
