    Annie Lennox is one of my favorite femals vocalists of all time. She has one of those voices that can make you smile or haunt you for the rest of your life. She knows how to control her voice and her audiences reaction to it. So when she released her first Christmas album last year, I had to have it. I loved her music choice on this one, because despit of not being a true believer in the message behind the music, she chose traditioanl Christmas carols and put her own spin on them. Her version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" is simply amazing and never fails to send chills up my spine. She also included carols I was not all that familiar with "In the Bleak Midwinter", "As Joseph Was A Walking", "The Holly and The Ivy", and "Il Est Ne Le Divin Enfant" a French carol that blew me away the first time I heard her sing it. She is an amazing talent, and that shows through on her first (I hope there will be more) Christmas album.
