Every summer since the late 1980s, the dance music market has been flooded with hundreds of dance compilations. Sorting the wheat from the chaff can be a time-consuming and costly prospect, but as a general rule of thumb, compilations from the Ministry of Sound stables are always of a high standard and feature all the biggest tunes. Summer 2000's Clubber's Guide has a genuine summery feel about it, and provides a welcome break from the glut of trance compilations that seemed to be clogging up the market, with an album full of uptempo house anthems such as David Morales's "Higher" and full-on carnival tunes such as Florian F's "Surreal Brazil." With Judge Jules picking the tracks and mixing them up for your delectation, this has sure-fire hit written all over it.
Now all you need is a long, hot summer. --Helen Marquis Second installment in this series of dance comps from the esteemed Ministry Of Sound label. Beautifully packaged in a double slimline jewel case within a full color slipcase with a 22 page booklet & a Pocket Ibiza Guide.
