        Murray Gold's music, as always, proves to be absolutely inspiring &, at times, touching in a heart-wrenching way and many times all of the above - (seriously, who can possibly hear "Vale Decem" WITHOUT feeling it? Only the heartless, I say....) Never tedious nor tired, and always amazing; Murray only succeeds in topping what I had believed could never be topped with the Series 3 music...and again this only proves that nothing can beat the sound of a 90 piece orchestra, all of whom are putting their entire hearts & souls into this music they love for a show they love. Rock on, BBC National Orchestra of Wales! I will never tire of hearing you play.

          And thank YOU for being so cool about it all. It wasn't that I felt bad, it was that after all my celebrating, I found out the truth of the situation & felt guilty for being so excited about it all when it came about all wrong. To my credit, I didn't at all know the truth when I first started "squeeing" all over the place ;)

          Hopefully things will fix themselves soon. I love the "regeneration" metaphor for the page. It is indeed quite fitting. And if nothing else, at least I found another friend as a result of this SNAFU. *vbg* Good friends are always something I appreciate.

          BTW, I'm @nuthinbutherain on twitter if you are on there (and yes, that IS a Battlestar Galactica reference *hee*)

I particularly enjoyed the music from the End of Time Parts 1 and 2, and the pieces I loved the most were: A Victorian Christmas; The Greats of Past Time; Goodbyes; The Fate of Little Adelaide; Altering Lives; We Shall Fare Well; The End Draws Near; Gallifrey; The Ruined Childhood; A Lot Left Behind Us; The Time Lord's Last Stand; Four Knocks; Song for Ten (Reprise); Vale Decem; and Vale. Every time I listen to the last four, I feel as though I want to bawl my eyes out, except I don't cry easily.
