    Embryonic is one of the most complex, intriguing and compelling album of the Flaming Lips' long and illustrious career. If I had composed this album, I would have been perfectly fine with dying the next day. It is an inspired work that, truly, caps off their legacy as a band that is still willing to be innovative when everyone else is slowly morphing into an amorphousness of appropriately conforming.
