    I started listening to Saron Gas in S. Africa sometime after 1999 doing gigs where ever they could. That is when my love for the band and especially Shaun began. He was different than anyone I had ever heard before with a mixture of a little Kurt Cobain, Eddie Vedder, with the Seattle grundge sound but with the swagger of the Door's Jim Morrison. Shaun in all ways had a sound and style ALL HIS OWN. There was no getting around it, Shaun had the perfectly scrumptious voice that no one could claim now or then. Although I love all kinds of music, the Saron Gas (Seether) sound is what I crave, desire.
    
    Years have past and members of the group have gone but their are two constants, my devotion to Shaun and his sound that has endured. I'll crush on Shaun till my dying day due to the band's music, lyrics, and that raw sexy sultry voice of Shaun's. Other bands have come and gone but with Shaun's voice, dale's talent and John's kick ass percussion, the unique sound can't be compared or b...

    I love this! It is too bad that the media made them change there name. Although, I am not sure they would have such a large fanbase if they hadn't. In any case, this is a great album, It has unique qualities to it that the Re-recordings don't have in them. If you like seether, you have got to check this out.
