    I first heard of this album when Henry Rollins wrote about it (and The Velvet Underground's White Light White Heat) in Spin magazine in 1985. It took me two years until I saw a copy in a record store in Atlanta (on an import cassette) and a third year until I actually bought a copy. It proved to be worth the search, and it is truly one of the greatest albums ever made. Seeing the Stooges, the world's greatest rock and roll band, play every song on this album during their 2007 tour was one of the greatest moments in my life.
