    To me it is Billy Joel's best album, once the glass breaks on "You May Be Right" you know you are in for a great listen. Listening to it now I can still sing along with all of the songs. Every song has a different sound but they all fit together. "Sleeping with the Television On" will always remind me of days before cable and the networks went off the air at night playing the national anthem, and I love the drums starting "Close to the Borderline."
    
    Everybody's talking about the new sound, funny but It's still Rock and Roll to me!

    Perhaps my favorite Billy Joel album -- and one I consider sadly underrated. A change of pace at the time for him, it captures the energy of the changing music tide, matching Joel's sharp songwriting with the then-new sounds of new wave/rock/punk. As listenable to me today as it was 30 years ago.
