    Mariah never really made it to the big screen for this one...From the catchy first single, "Loverboy," through a couple of big ballads and a few funky tunes thrown in for a good mix, the album lacks some kind of excitement. And not a best selling soundtrack either..Last Night a DJ Saved My Life not that bad after all. This is definitely the best song on the album. Funky cover of the classic song with Mariah's unusually controlled vocals, that are just so much different from everything she has sung so far.
    And my hubby's fave " Never too far" The quiet beginning and vocally huge chorus remind of "Open Arms" or other Mariah ballads from the pre "Butterfly" era. It may not be exactly challenging, but it's nice nevertheless!

    Even though this soundtrack did not do well, I enjoyed most of the ballads she recorded on this album. Though all her upbeat songs were supposed to sound more like the 80's but all the rappers went crazy on them. I still think that "Lead The Way" is one of her best ballads from this record. A simple piano arrangement and that power-house vocals!
