    Thomas Dolby’s second album eschewed a modicum of its predecessor’s “new romantic” tone in favour of a greater depth of warmth, feeling and, dare I say it, even humour. Standout tracks include “Mulu: The Rainforest”; “I Scare Myself”; “Dissidents”, “White City” and the absolutely sublime, “Screen Kiss” – which is a very serious contender for being my favourite song of all time.
