    Forced to choose my favorite artist, I feel forever torn between Elvis Costello and David Bowie. Bowie has so many albums that I still cherish but Hunky Dory is the grand prize winner of the group.
    
    Only one track truly rocks (Queen Bitch), but the overall quality of this record is undeniable.Changes is the song that everyone knows, and it's certainly special, but it's Life on Mars? that I've always found to be the most powerful track of this excellent group.
    
    Hunky Dory featured the magnificent keyboardist, Rick Wakeman and Mick Ronson, Bowie's regular guitarist from that era. It's almost one of those so-called super groups.
    
    Looking back at his magnificent career, it is difficult to choose a favorite, but because Hunky Dory was my introduction to the genius of the man, it will always have a special place in my heart.
