    Beastie Boys laying down some serious "Funk You Up" beats and ryhmes on this album. I was born in 70's and can say the rifts and drums used in Ill Communication leave you wanting more music like this. Ad Rock,MCA & Mike Dee drop the science of Hip Hop into your eardrum and infects it viciously!. I would give my left eye to see them in concert :D got to see a documentry on Showtime awhile back of their Madison Square Garden show, which also featured funktastic beats as this album.

    great album, as with most bands though, it can never be what that first hit album was, in this case what license to ill was. sabotage, being probably the most popular and well known song off this album was a hard, heavy sound much like the punk music they did in the early 80's that you'll find on polly wog stew, some old bullshit, b-sides and bullshit, and if you are lucky enugh to have it, cookie puss.
