2009 album from the British Hip Hop/Grime MC. If there is one theme running through the magical existence of Lady Sovereign, then it's that of being a fiercely independent creative spirit who, one way or another, was born to be different. From grasping her unique talent for rolling her tongue around words at the tender age of 13 to selling over a million units of her single, 'Love Me Or Hate Me'; the story of Sov's charmed life is one of stellar achievement against a backdrop of the most unlikely of circumstances.
Features the singles 'I Got You Dancing' and 'So Human'.

Jigsaw is Lady Sovereign's sophomore album, and it's distinctly different from Public Warning. The lyrics are more introspective, and she even sings in the eponymous track talking about an intense breakup. "I'm So Human" takes aim at the breakdown that caused her to leave Def Jam, while "Food Play" is another one of the hugely sarcastic, tongue firmly in cheek nods to the push to be sexualized that Sov is so infamous for. Her apology to the fans in "Guitar" may not be the strongest song on the album, but you can feel the sincerity. "Let's Be Mates" is a silly, fun tune, a perfect show opener with its hook of "I'm weird and you're weird, let's be mates." and club tune "I Got You Dancing" will get you moving. I can understand why some fans felt this album sold out, but I think it's good in its own right. You can feel how much Sov has grown and changed while listening to it; she's moved from rebellious teen to introspective 20-something while still maintaining her edge.
