One of my favorite albums. John Coltrane playing ballads with the only vocalist he would work with: Johnny Hartman, one of the smoothest voices in music. Recorded over the course of a day, each song only requiring 1 take. Incredible.

The greatest album of romantic classics. Hartman's rich baritone melds perfectly with thsmooth, sensual sax of Coltrane. It's one of my "stranded on a desert island" records.
