    ****1/2. I can do without "Catch", but this album has something for everyone. The guitar riff in opener "The Kiss" is on par with some of the greatest of all-time. "Why Can't I Be You?" can make anyone jump up and sing. "Just Like Heaven" appeals to the masses for different reasons. "A Thousand Hours" and "One More Time" both have fairytale like qualities that can transfer one to alternate worlds. "All I Want" secures Robert Smith again as one of the great guitarists still playing. Closer "Fight" tries to contain his fury, but fails in all regards. Take an afternoon cleaning the house and turn the volume way up to experience this great album in it's fullest !!

    I only knew Cure through best-ofs and albums from the 90s. This 1987 album is really different from what I expected. A lot of beautiful mosty-instrumentals pieces.
