Leftism is Leftield's Neil Barnes and Paul Daley's finest album to date. The album spans the genre's of Dub Reggae, Trance/Techno and Breakbeats and the track Open Up is fronted by the legendary John Lydon. My favourite tracks Afro-Left, Inspection Check One and Storm 3000.

An album which achieves a perfect synergy of ambient/techno and dub reggae, became positively ubiquitous when it was released in 1995, and eventually went on to become a dance classic.

“Leftfield” never again really achieved the musical heights that they scaled with this album; but when they’d unleashed such genuinely brilliant tracks such as “Original”, “Open Up” and “Song Of Life”, they didn’t really need too.

A 1998 poll by “Q Magazine” voted this the eightieth greatest album of all time and it has regularly been seen in polls of the hundred greatest albums ever.
Consider it absolutely compulsory listening if you have any interest in dance music.
