    I can never pick a favorite Metallica album, but the Black one comes very close to the top of my list. It came out on my birthday 20 years ago, and damn does that make me feel old. It has Metalica's first ballad "Nothing Else Matters".

    A good album, for sure, just not as strong as the previous two when looked at as a whole. Sad But True & Through The Never are my fave songs off this.
