    I was a huge fan, saw not only the original production but also a few others in subsequent years including the one in Japan. The last one I saw was in Toronto and it was a huge disappointment, though we had the original Kim on stage. Probably due to budgetary reasons, it was a light version - fewer props, smaller chorus...all in all, did not have the impact as the earlier productions when the show just came out. well, at least we can always listen to the original recording.

    One of the best musicals that ever set foot on Broadway. I just hope when they decide to make a movie out of this, the film will do it justice!
