    Play is by far Moby's most popular album. Even if you think you've never heard it, you have! Almost all the songs on play have been used in movies, tv shows, or commercials - probably a combination of them! Before Play Moby was known as a techno maestro, and before that he was much more hardcore. But with Play he came out with a beautiful combination of techno/electronica, rock, and instrumentals. It's a perfect blend of everything he loves, plus more.
    
    For people new to Moby this is the first thing I suggest. This album not only gave Moby the fame he deserved, but also gave the public some wonderful music.

      Mike Scarpiello He actually sold EVER SINGLE SONG for commercial use. Say what you want, but how many artists can make an album that good!

    Play is one of the best electronic albums of the 90s if not of all time. Almost the entire album has been used in some other form of media. It still holds the record for being the most licensed album of all time. It's been used for so many commercials, movies, TV shows and more, and continues to have an impact to this day.
    
    It's easily Moby's most accessible album and many people would say it's his best. Either way, it's a must own album, not just for electronic music fans, but for fans of music in general.
    
    Tracks like Porcelain will stay with you years after the first time you've heard them.
