    The Replacements simply missed their market. Today they are appreciated. Let It Be, Tim, Don't Tell a Soul, All Shook Down (practically a solo album), Pleased to Meet Me, Hootenany. Where do you begin? Collect them all. One of my favorite albums. A must listen by the Replacements.

    Pleased To Meet Me seems like such a more commercial album than it's predecessor Tim but it still has all the things that make a great Mats' album. Songs about drinking (Shooting Dirty Pool, Red Red Wine), songs about rock n roll (Alex Chilton, I Don't Know), songs that make you want to cry (Skyway), and three of the best songs Paul Westerberg ever wrote (Never Mind, Valentine and Can't Hardly Wait.)
