The film defined coming-of-age in the 80s- so did this soundtrack with the 80s sound, with memorable tracks like OMD's If You Leave, Psychedelic Fur's title song, New Order's Thieves Like Us (I absolutely love this one), Suzanne Vega's Left of Center, Echo and the Bunnymen's Bring on the Dancing Horses, The Smith's Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want, and several others.
