    there are very few albums that I can listen to front to back, without cringing at least once, and this is one of those albums.. as usual, Omar Lopez-Rodriguez's vocals are on point (though he's grown significantly as a vocalist with The Mars Volta), and Cedric Bixler-Zavala's guitar work is nothing short of perplexing.. it's a smartly written, loosely conceptual masterpiece.. too bad it was ATDI's last album, although they did spawn two of the better bands of the decade in Sparta and The Mars Volta..

    At the Drive-In's best album. Including Enfilade, One Armed Scissor, Quarantined, Cosmonaut. A must have. Definitely a great uplifting album

    If you haven't seen it, you should search for the video of them performing Arcarsenal at Big Day Out in 2000. Unless you don't want to be disappointed with every concert you attend in the future.
