    Rhythm Nation 1814 is the album where Janet made her voice heard all around the world. The whole album is a great listen from beginning to end. This album is mostly made of songs that showed Janet's view on the state of the world. There are several interludes on this album that really send the message that she was trying to make. The most notable is the Racism interlude "To a world sick with racism, get well soon." This is quite possibly my favorite Janet album but then again they all are :)

    This was my favorite album growing up and the 1st CD I ever got. Janet's songs are so brilliant, uplifting, inspirational and make me feel something. I fell in love with her music with this album and will always be thankful that is came out during a stressful time in my life.

    I miss the old Janet from this CD. Remember those fun clean dance music videos? That was good stuff in my opinion.
