    Someone on Twitter was looking for her shoes and I started 'singing' "Where's My Shoe?" and then went to youtube to find it so she could hear WTF I was talking about, which reminded me once again of how very much I love this show!
    
    Why is there no film available??? There was a production on PBS many years ago, but it's never been released as a DVD (or even a videotape!). We did a production when I was in college, but that was way before even VCRs - sigh! - Dirk Neiwoehner (aka Dirk Benedict) sang George and he was perfect. I went to all but one performance!
    
    The more I think about it the more I want desperately to see it again - you'd think, from all the successful films of the same story (The Shop Around the Corner, You've Got Mail and I'm sure there are others) a film of this musical would be a cinch, but I guess they just aren't making musicals any more.

    I get the Ice Cream song stuck in my head all the time, randomly, when I haven't seen it (and I don't own the musical or the soundtrack). :)
