    "The sun was in the sky like pink champagne...." Really? Isn't it like illegal to write such bad lyrics? I kid. We'll give Edie a break. Her debut CD is tight, fun, and essential. Dripping with Dead-like guitars and traces of her sexy Texas-drawl, "Rubberbands" has some people complaining about the semi-annoying-but-addictive "What I Am." What no one talks about is how musically strong "The Wheel" and "Circle" are.
