    Love this album so much !!! I was devastated when Sebastian Bach left the band. This album contains the 3 songs that I love the most: Youth Gone Wild, 18 and Life, and of course I REMEMBER YOU.. It's amazing when a song could instantly take us to the moments years ago, right? Does anyone ever feel the same way about this? share please ;)

    Skid Row was discovered by members of Bon Jovi in the early 1990's. They went on to metal superstardom but faded away shortly after lead singer Sebastien Bach left the group. Their music lives on and many of their smash hits are now rock anthems, such as the monster hits 18 and Life and I Remember You. Skid Row is one of the greatest rock bands ever.

    Absolutely fabulous coming out album, this was Skid Row's "Slippery When Wet" and "Appetite for Destruction". Fortunately and unfortunately, this is and was arguably as good as it got for them and in my view, they could not sustain it. Also, unlike the really lasting bands, they were still too much of a garage band in their overall style and presence and couldn't scale up long term. To do that, you need a full act - a "thing" (all the great bands have it). But still , this album is well worth a listen if you like this brand or period of Rock n Roll..

Description

Skid Row is an American heavy metal band, formed in 1986 in Toms River, New Jersey. They were a very successful in the late 1980s and early 1990s, with their first three multi-platinum albums. As of 2010 their current line-up consists of Johnny Solinger (vocals), Dave "The Snake" Sabo (guitar), Scotti Hill (guitar), Rachel Bolan (bass) and Rob Hammersmith (drums). At the end of 1996 the band had sold 20 million albums worldwide.

To date, Skid Row has released five full-length albums, an EP, a compilation album, and a live album. For album and single sales information, see the Skid Row discography page. They became popular with their first two albums, Skid Row and Slave to the Grind, which are often considered their best-known works to date. Their 1995 follow-up, Subhuman Race was also critically-acclaimed but not as successful as the first two albums. Skid Row's latest albums, Thickskin and Revolutions per Minute, came out in 2003 and 2006.

They are often associated with glam metal, partly due to their image on their debut album, Skid Row, which spawned the hits "18 and Life", "Youth Gone Wild", and "I Remember You" for the band.[1] They would eventually go on to foster an image base geared toward more traditional heavy metal and hard rock audiences.
