    It is indeed a shame that most listeners lump Tears For Fears in with disposable pop artists of the 1980's. In actuality, they were quite accomplished, creative song-writers, performers, and arrangers that often operated far beyond whatever mainstream success they experienced on the pop charts. Any open-minded music listener will find that Songs From the Big Chair more than aptly proves this.
