    Depeche Mode's first album carries Vince Clarke's influence all over it, with its cheery upbeat synths and (at times) cheesy lyrics. The album still carries two Martin Gore compositions - the instrumental "Big Muff" and "Tora! Tora! Tora!", a song whose arrangement seems to almost foreshadow the dark and complex direction that the band would head down once Vince split. Definitely a must-listen for any DM fan.
