    I fell in love with Brandi Carlile's voice after hearing this song on Greys Anatomy. I really like Sara Ramirez's version! I do have to admit there is something very pure in Brandi's voice, when she sings, you just feel it! This is a beautifully written song, performed by a really gifted artist!

    When so many songs are now bought without their album, this is one album that reminds one to go back and listen to the entire set. Like many, I heard Sara Ramirez sing "The Story" on Grey's Anatomy a few weeks ago. I ordered Carlile's album the same evening. I ordered the actual CD, as I wanted to listen in the car and wanted better sound as well. Well worth the purchase!

    Listening to they way this song should only be sung. Brandi's voice made this song the powerhouse it is. Others can try to imitate but that's all it will be, a pale imitation.
