    If you're expecting something similar to Linkin Park's other albums, then you're in for a surprise. This album is different from anything they've done before.
    The vocals on the album are strong, Mike returns to rapping as well as regular singing and Chester continues singing with his powerful voice, unfortunately there's only one song that he lets out his scream.
    From the alternative rock sound in "Minutes To Midnight", "A Thousand Suns" has more of a distorted, electric sound and provide a slight hip hop beat. The rock sound continues but it's not the same as previous albums, as it seems that it has gotten a softer sound.
    Like the band said, this album is journey, and that's what I felt while listening to it.

    I did download the leaked version but I'm going to buy it when it's released. I think it is extremely different from anything LP has ever done before but I like it.

I like all of l.p.'s albums but this one is much more mature than previous records. also, I've had this convo with many ppl n its not until I explain it that they get it. the album is about nuclear war n the future of the world(a thousand suns being s direct reference to a nuclear explosion, the second track is the quote from j. Robert oppenhiemer, head scientist of the Manhattan project after the first explosion at the trinity test site, wisdom justice and love is very obvious). there's a lot of references to nuclear war tucked within, n just like in the past, I live the way they put politics under the gun. thanks guys, keep it up!
