The most profound of all of Janet's CD's by far. The Velvet Rope takes you a on journey of some serious issues that Janet herself dealt with. I was able to see the Velvet Rope tour and the show was AMAZING. She took us on a musical journey that made you laugh, cry, and just want to Dance. While this album was not critically acclaimed (It should have been), it is one of my top three Janet Albums. You is the most powerful song Janet has ever released, so what are you waiting for have a listen or hundred :)

Miss Jackson if you're nasty...indeed. She showed the world that she was a woman to be reckoned with on this album, and don't even get me started on the concert!

I refuse to say that this album was Janet Jackson's Opus-but this album hit every single chord PERFECTLY. It is definitely one of the last albums that I actually can listen from beginning to end. Rope Burn tickles my perverted mind but unlike Janet-I am a most dominant woman so I listen to it in reverse. lol
