Wasting Light, a brand new Masterpiece from Foo Fighters. This is one of the most anticipated album this year. Great materials, great songs, amazing tunes.. Comes from one of the best producer in the world Butch Vig and THE BEST MUSICIAN EVER Dave Grohl.
The new album is deeper, harder, faster and better than anything they've done in over a decade.
And the most interesting fact about this album is that Pat Smear involved in this album.
I guess Wasting Light finally sees that the Foo Fighters had reached a balance between the raw power of their first two albums with the consistently evolving songwriting of their latter releases. It’s unquestionably Grohl’s finest work as a songwriter and frontman, showcasing a relentless pursuit of peak potential. A Masterpiece!
I wish I could see them live again.

Even though every album by Foo sounds like the Foo Fighters, each album shows growth & change. This is definitely true for Wasting Light. You can hear that they've taken some time with this album and that it's more personal and introspective. I love that they recorded this album in Dave's garage, again, adding that personal touch. In the film Back and Forth, they document the band recording this album. With family close & lyrics flowing, especially on songs like "I Should've Known," you can see the weight of personal meaning and importance on Dave's face as he sang & worked on them. This album is a little more rock than their last, but it's definitely more mature and coming from an honest place close to their hearts. But in true Foo fashion, there are songs like "Walk" and "Rope" that have a slow build up and real head banging rock breaks. No matter if you've been a fan for 16 years or 16 minutes, this album is for anyone who appreciates real rock & real music. Listen & Love it!

Wasting Light by Foo Fighters is fantastic from start to finish. Not a bad song on here really. It contains quite a few hits to add to their next greatest hits album. Songs like Bridge Burning, Rope, Dear Rosemary, Arlandria and These Days stand out. The sound on this album is unique because of the old school recording methods. Hats off to their amazing producer, Butch Vig. Very bold and gritty. A must have album for rock fans. #foos

An amazing, AMAZING rock album. I could use a million positive cliches here, "instant classic", "two thumbs up", "five stars" etc. And they would all fit. I hope they record they rest of their albums in Dave's garage! It's a masterful recording that feels as powerful as it sounds with grooves & melodies that pull from all of rock's rich history. Amazing. Did I say it was amazing? It is. Amazing that is...
