I was beyond thrilled to find this artist, she was a breath of fresh air for the disgusting dichotomy of Taylor Swift and Ke$ha plaguing the radio. Charlotte Sometimes is cute, indie-rock/pop-y AND a sexual deviant. I love the simple structure to the tracks, limited play on words and rampant sexuality of the album. I did a bit of research as to her name and the title of the first song I heard, "How I Could Just Kill a Man"- both of which have Cure references, if I'm correct. Favorite songs: How I Could Just Kill a Man, AEIOU & Army Men. The first is catchy from the get-go, interesting title, simple and pop-y. The second is a bit more upbeat, equally pop-y but mix in a bit of promiscuity. And the last is swifter, more grounded and if I spent a bit more time with the lyrics would probably be suggestive of something. There's an army theme with two tracks, haven't put that together though and it's obviously about relations with men as a woman. Can have this album on repeat for ages as well
