Round and Shiny Times EP out on Bandcamp 9th cloud is a french beat maker dealing with abstract beats, instrumental hip hop and electronica also a member of 'Half a Rainbow" www.9th-cloud.com listen and buy at : http://9thcloud.bandcamp.com Ses influences sont multiples, Hip Hop, Jazz, Electronica... et une première synthèse de ses ascendants avait été faite voilà bientôt six ans avec l'album 'A Monkey in a Yellow Hat', plébiscité par la presse. Deux années de recul, de maturation auront été mises à profit par 9th cloud pour enrichir sa particularité musicale. La patte, unique et personnelle, était déjà bien présente et reconnaissable sur le premier opus; 9th cloud garde son procédé créatif et le pousse dans ses retranchements sur 'Delicate Sound', sorti en 2006. Depuis, 9th cloud a tourné en live, puis a participé l'expérience en duo aux côtés de vompleud : Half a Rainbow. En 2010, 9th cloud puise de nouveau dans ses compositions solo, selon sa partition éminemment personnelle, entre abstract hip hop et électronica. Trois EPs sont sur les rails pour 2010, comportant des remixes. 9th cloud nous conte une histoire qui reste à inventer, celle d'un voyage aérien au coeur de nos pensées les plus profondes, d'un récit libre et libérateur mêlé à un soupçon de mélancolie.
