This was my favorite favorite novel as a kid. I read it more times than I can ready. And cried each time.

I met him while studying in France (he's currently the Special Teams Coach for the Aix Argonautes). He's an awesome guy! We hang out lots.

I actually really like guys in pea coats. European men pull that look off VERY well. ;)

I was lucky enough to visit her grave in Pere Lachaise, Paris, a month or so ago. I dragged my friends all the way to the back of the cemetery (in the hail, thanks much!) to get to her grave. I read an excerpt from Tender Buttons (section: Beef), my favorite. It was so moving, as cheesey as that may sound. People had piled little stacks of rocks on top of her grave. Toklas' grave is adjoined.
