Bad Meets Evil was a 2-piece rap collaboration consisting of Detroit emcees Royce da 5'9" ("bad") and Eminem ("evil.") Bad Meets Evil preleased a small number of tracks such as "Scary Movies", "Nuttin' to Do" and "Bad Meets Evil", with the lattermost track featuring on Eminem's album The Slim Shady LP. The track starts out with an old man telling a story of Bad and Evil ruling the town, and how the sherrifs couldn't stop them. It proceeds to go into song, and afterwards the elderly cowboy is back, saying that "On the quiet nights, you can still hear the footsteps of Slim Shady and Royce Da 5'9".

The song is considered by many to be the best track that these two artists have made together. During the Bad Meets Evil period, they recorded the following tracks: Nuttin to Do Scary Movies Bad Meets Evil Rock City Renegades She's The One What The Beat They have also recorded numerous freestyles together, including a 12-minute long battle. Footage of a Bad Meets Evil concert filmed in 1998 in a club in Detroit has also been leaked onto the internet.

The group was short-lived however, with an altercation occurring between Royce Da 5'9", and Eminem's clique; D12, prompting Eminem and Royce to cut off any connections. The group has since not worked together. Royce Da 5'9" has since released some tracks dissing D12 and Eminem.

D12 (minus Eminem) have released tracks dissing Royce Da 5'9" and his M.I.C. Records Camp. Royce & D12 have squashed their "beef" but Royce still discontinues to speak of Eminem. Bad meets evil can be found on records such as Game Tight, the very best of game recordings (including Nuttin' to do & Scary moves) On March 12th Royce Da 5'9" announced to HipHopDX.com that him and Eminem have been talking and have ended their differences.

According to Royce, him and Em talked after Em's protege Cashis dissed him for talking out on Em. Royce and Em have talked since and resolved their problems. Cashis also appologizes for the comments made on Royce.
