I read Vera Ramone King's book "Poisoned Heart: I married Dee Dee Ramone (The Ramones Years), and it was so good it made me go to her site "veraramoneking.com" and tell her about my Dee Dee story. To keep it short Dee Dee walked straight over to me and held out his fist and I grabbed it and he opened his hand and put his guitar pick in it...I always thought "OMG...he singled ME out to give me this" and I always thought it was because he saw how much fun I was having at the show-non-stop energy...Vera wrote back to me and told me that Dee Dee used to do that...single people out that looked like they were big fans and did this!!!! I almost started crying!
