WOW!!! I have a friend in Pittsburgh who worked for years in the music business, probably 30 years and she just told me that when D.W. came to Pittsburgh one year, she was very demanding. She wanted white roses, white carpeting in her dressing room & a certain type of champagne. They were able to appease her with everything but the champagne. When she saw that it wasn't what she wanted, she threw it against the wall....holy crap....I love hearing all of her stories. She said she was very mean! I would never have guessed that.

Not only a wonderful voice but a great spirit. I had the opportunity to meet her at her home in 1988! Back then she was going to do a TV show called, "Dionne & Friends" and she wanted me to be a guest to share my friendship with my friend who was tragically killed. Though the show never happened, sitting in her home and talking to her about her family and even discussing Whitney Houston was SURREAL!!
