Mystic Chris Anything from 1955 to 1969 by Ella is worth listening to. Just beware of the Spiritual songs and the country album and the Christmas album she did for Capitol records. Anything on Verve by Ella is worth listening to. Patti Austin has a tribute album to Ella that will introduce you well. To see Ella in action just go to Youtube.com and type in her name.
