Hands Like Houses is a rock group from Canberra, ACT, Australia which changed its name from So Long Safety. The band is renowned for its live performances and sophisticated musical style, garnering the group a large following in the Canberra area. As So Long Safety the group released one EP entitled "Bear in Mind, I'm a Lion" and were highly ranked on alternative radio station Triple J's Unearthed competition.
In 2010, the band went to Chango Studios in Florida to record it's first work under it's new name with producer Cameron Mizell. Their debut, Ground Dweller came out in 2012.
